1. Your hair is cut in one length

Getting a single layer might seem low maintenance but it just ends up looking flat and boring. Adding layers gives your hair that bounce that makes your hair look voluminous and fresh. Bouncy hair with movement is a symbol of youth and a single layer prevents that.

2. Your hair colour is too light

One mistake that a lot of women make is over bleaching their hair. Not only does it damage your hair beyond repair but it also isn’t a good look. It tends to divert attention to the wrong part. The best way to go about this is finding the right shade that doesn’t clash with your skin tone. Don’t go for something too light as it might wash out your skin. Highlights in reds, pinks and browns look great, and so does the balayage technique.

3. A blunt fringe

Blunt fringes are one of the hardest to full off as it is likely to add a few years to your look.

Keep in mind your face shape before you opt for this, if you have a small and round face this is definitely not recommended. Whereas, if you have a long and broad face this might just work.

Hair styling products have become a thing of daily use now. Hair gels, serums, mousses and sprays may make your hair look great but in the long term their regular use can be very damaging.

They create buildup in your scalp and wear your hair down. And excessive heat styling is equally bad. Daily use of blow dryers and irons dry out your hair make them look unhealthy. This strips your hair of that natural healthy glow and makes you look aged instead.
