This Is How You Can Upgrade Your Regular Ponytail

Step 1: Use salt spray

Enhance the waves in your hair by spritzing a salt spray over your tresses until they are damp. Follow this by blow drying your hair in low heat. The pull your hair upward with your fingers. To increase the volume on top, take a medium sized round brush and use it to lift chunks of hair. Then blast the roots with a dryer to give it a messy touch-up.

 

Step 2: The dry shampoo trick

Once dry, spray some dry shampoo over the crown of your hair and hold the same. Take about three-inch section of hair near the temple and make a tight braid, securing the ends with a transparent band.

 

Step 3: Rake your hair

Rake the hair and braid them into a ponytail a few inches above your neck nape. Secure it with a band and cover the band by wrapping it with about one inch strip of your hair around it. Pin the same to keep it intact.

 

Step 4: Separate your hair into sections

Separate a two-inch section of hair from the rest of your ponytail, and braid it to the ends by securing it with an elastic band. Repeat the process but with a one inch section of hair this time and stop halfway before tying it off.

 

Step 5: Use a texturiser
