Easy Homemade Face Masks To Get Gorgeous Skin

Face masks are meant to hydrate, moisturize and give your skin a youthful glow. We should avoid using chemical face masks whenever possible because it might have side effects. Natural face masks on the otherhand have almost no side effects and are super beneficial for your skin.
All these home-made masks consist of easily available natural products and there are usually no side effects.
1. Gram Flour And Milk Mask
Ingredients: 2 tablespoons Besan/gram flour, 2 tablespoons milk, 1 small teaspoon honey
Application: Create a thick consistency of the mixture and scrub it on your face. After scrubbing for a couple of minutes, leave it on and rinse with cold water.
Frequency: Once a week.
Why this works: Besan is a natural exfoliator and helps to remove tan and pigmentation. Gram flour is the best to give your skin a boost of glow and lustre.
Tip: It does dry out your face so, definitely use a moisturizer later.
2. Aloe Vera Mask
Aloe Vera is an affordable and easy option to get a glowing skin.
Ingredients: 1 Tablespoon aloe vera gel
Application: Apply a thick layer of either fresh aloe gel or one bought from the market on your face and leave it on for 15 minutes.
Frequency: 4 times a week.
Why this works: Aloe Vera intensely affects your pores and cleans them. It takes out the excess dirt and soothes the skin. This is super easy and you will get results within a week. Aloe Vera will help your skin glisten and shine!
Tip: Add a couple of drops of essential oil to aloe to give extra moisture to your skin.
3. Multani Mitti Mask
It is available in a powder or ready-made form.
Ingredients: 2 Tablespoons Multani Mitti, 1 Tablespoon Rose water, 1 Tablespoon Milk
Application: Mix with rose water, milk or lemon and apply it on your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes.
Frequency: 2-3 times a week.
Why this works: Fullers earth helps in deep cleansing and making your skin firmer. It prevents wrinkles and removes dead cells. It also removes tan and helps your skin to glow from within.
Tip: Mix it with rose water and little bit of turmeric for better results.
4. Lemon And Honey Mask
Ingredients: 1 Lemon, 1 Tablespoon raw honey
Application: Squeeze half a lemon in a bowl, add some honey and turmeric (optional) to it. Apply this paste on your skin and leave it on for 5-7 minutes and not more than that otherwise the lemon will start to irritate your skin.
Frequency: Twice a week.
Why this works: Lemon has anti-oxidant properties which help to bring out your natural skin colour.
Tip: Rubbing lemon peel on your skin, also does the job.
5. Tomato Mask
Tomato masks are super interesting.
Ingredients: 2 Tablespoons tomato juice, 1 Tablespoon Buttermilk
Application: Take 2 tablespoons of tomato juice and add buttermilk to it. Dip in your plain sheet mask in this and put the sheet on your face for 20 minutes and it will do its job.
Frequency: Every day, else 4 times a week.
Why this works: Both the ingredients are meant to gently exfoliate, remove tan, make your skin softer and give shine.
Tip: Take more of the tomato pulp and not the water part.
