The ingredients for this mask can be easily found in your kitchen. For example, a green tea sachet with honey and lemon can act as an extraordinary treatment for acne!

Ingredients: 1 bag of green tea or equivalent quantity of green tea leaves, 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 3 teaspoons of sugar.

How to use: Cut open the green tea bag, mix all the ingredients to form a thick paste and apply the same on your face. Keep it for 10-15 minutes and wash it off with water.

Why this Works: Green tea is full of antioxidants which helps in decreasing redness in the skin.

 

2. Bake soda to the rescue

Pro Tip- The mask tends to leave a yellow tinge which can be removed by using apple cider vinegar to wash the face. Try this mask every fortnight.

How to use: Mash the cucumber, strain off the water and mix one tablespoon of sugar to make a fine paste. Apply the paste on your face and keep it for around 10 - 15 minutes. Rinse it off with cold water.
