4 Amazing Things You Must Know About 'Miss World 2017' Manushi Chhillar

The name that has officially broken the internet, Ms. Manushi Chhillar, has been crowned MISS WORLD 2017!
The glorious event took place on 18th November at Sayna , China. Manushi, a 20 year old medical student from Haryana brought back the crown to India after 17 years!
Priyanka Chopra was the last Indian to win the coveted pageant in 2000! She bagged the title when she was merely 16!
Let's look at amazing things about Manushi Chhillar which makes the title even more special.
1. She is a would-be Doctor
The girl who hails from the lands of Haryana, she is a medical student at Bhagat Pool Singh Government Medical College for Women in Sonepat.
She has a great family background! Her father , Dr Mitra Basu Chhillar is a scientist at DRDO and mother Dr. Neelam Chhillar is head of the Department of Neuro-Chemistry at Insititue of Human Behavior and Allied sciences!
She did her schooling at St, Thomas School, New Delhi. She is currently pursuing MBBS from Medical college, Sonepat. It was during this period she participated in the pageant!
2. She is a trained Kuchipudi Dancer
She has a keen interest in swimming, painting, drama and poetry. Apart from that, she is a trained Kuchipudi dancer too! What a multi-faceted girl!
3. She wants to open Non-profit hospitals
She aspires to become a cardiac surgeon and open multiple Non-profit hospitals in the rural!
Now that is a true definition of ‘Beauty with Purpose’ isn’t it?
When spoken to Alesia Raut, who is the official ramp walk trainer in Miss Femina and Miss India Universe pageants, who trained Chhillar, all she has is praises for her!
I'm actually speechless- I feel like it's a return gift to me, she says.
Manushi was the one who was always very calm and composed. Whatever was going within her, whatever volcanoes were going on within her- she never showed it to us.
She always had this pleasant smile on her face. We just had to work on her energy- getting the energy while she was walking- she managed to achieve that on the final day.
4. Her Amazing Answers earned her a lot of respect
Manushi made it to Top 5 and was asked; ‘ Which profession deserves the highest salary?’, to which her answer stole the crowd!
Here is what she had to say!
I think a mother is of highest respect. I don't think it's just about cash but love and respect she gives to someone. She is the biggest inspiration in my life. Mother should get the highest respect.
And the rest is past, as Ms. Chhillar walks the crown back to India!
At the age of 20, Manushi Chhillar has managed to make her mark in the world as she makes the nation roar in pride! It is yet to see whether she bounces back to study or maybe desires to try her hand in Bollywood just as the prior crown holders; Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra had.
